When sending a bike to Bangkok from up country.
Head to the Parcel Room as the first step to collecting your bike.

The view from the main road.

Hand over your green receipt.
You will be handed a blue copy of the receipt and asked to take a seat.

Around 10 mins later a golf buggy arrives to take you over to the area where the bikes are stored.

The staff will tell you when the buggy has arrived.

After a 5 plus minute ride you will arrive at the place to collect your bike.
It is well sign posted all the way.

The parcel room is on the other side of the main station. (View from the pick up area)

In my case the train hadn’t long arrived and my bike was still on the platform.
The buggy took me a bit further and I rode off.

Sending a Bike from Bangkok
Go directly to the pick up location, do not go to the Parcel Room as you will be sent here.
There is a sign on the wall with a QR code that links to a map.
(Only when sending your bike from Bangkok to up country)
** When I called the SRT. Informed opens at 10 am to accept bikes, guessing that is when there are staff to take money and check documents. Passport / Green book etc.

The money will be collected and receipt provided.

Not difficult at all.
Just a bit confusing when receiving a bike go to the parcel room.
When sending a bike go directly to the pick up location.

Hope that is useful. If you have a different experience after January 1st 2024.
