Ninty (90) Kilometres from Nong Khai town. A great drive / ride along the 211.
Stunning Mekong views with a nice mountainous back drop on the Thai side.

Make sure you book ahead.. The resort is packed most nights.
A popular spot for the Udon locals wanting to get away from the big smoke.

Ban Muang (Parking and View Point)
Park then take little tractor up the mountain, about 3 km.

The view point on Dirt or Adventure bike is doable but no room for parking up the top.
Too busy to ride up here in the cool season as it is popular with a lot of traffic.
Plus narrow parts and steep to navigate..

Got recommended to stay at BANMAI RIMKONG RESORT and it was the most amazing place, our room looked out over Mekong river which I found to be beautiful and rooms spotless. The staff was so friendly even invited us to a concert in the village. This is a place everyone who thinks there been to Thailand needs to visit because there not much better. Great place so much to do around this resort water falls & temples.
